DC Wallbox is a faster version of AC Wallbox. It charges with direct current and, like its AC version, provides online charging statistics and reports.

The AC pole is an intelligent solution ideal for larger parking areas. It allows you to charge two cars at the same time. Dynamically manages consumption to reduce costs and easily integrates with your parking or billing system.

AC POLE

ZSE Drive ultra-fast chargers are the fastest charging option on the market, with an output of up to 350 kW. They will fully charge a Porsche Taycan or the new Tesla Model 3.

ULTRAFAST CHARGER

What are the possibilities of accessing the charging stations? 

You can ask to have further charging cards issued via our mobile application. For a new charging card, you just have to select a programme and enter a new, yet not used email address to enter your login data.

What if I need several charging cards?

The charging station of ZSE DRIVE can be financed through rent or purchase. You can rent the charging stations for 24 or 36 months depending on the charging station. Once the term is ended, you can continue in renting it or finish, but the charging station is still owned by ZSE DRIVE. If you want to buy a charging station, you pay for the installation and the charging station only once.  Then, you can choose if you wish to get the extended services and on-line services which are charged by a monthly fee.

How can I finance the charging station?

No. Cables and pre-preparation becomes your property, so they cannot be included in the rental.

Can works necessary for the installation of the charging station be included in the payment of the rent?

In case of limited capacity and the need to place several charging stations, the output can be statically limited so that the defined capacity is not exceeded.  Also, dynamic load management of charging output can be imposed, where the speed of charging would go down with increasing number of actively charged cars, so that you do not exceed your reserve capacity. 

What if my reserve capacity is not sufficient for the necessary number of charging stations?

Yes. Contract on services includes on-line services including a monthly consumption report at your charging station through your charging cards. This report can be used e.g. for billing of consumed electricity to individual cost centres or your employees. You can get the report through the on-line interface to the charging station management. 

Am I able to follow the consumption at individual charging cars of my employees? 

You can fee your customers on charging either directly or through ZSE Drive. For direct payment, e.g. through your cash register, all relevant information concerning charges to your customers can be obtained through web interface to the charging station. However, ZSE Drive is an easier way to use. Then, all your charging stations are included in the roaming of ZSE DRIVE and you don’t have to deal with any administrative or process tasks.

Can I fee on charging, and if yes, how? 

Charging stations must be available for public 24/7. That is the basic condition. Anyone can charge, even without registration at ZSE DRIVE.

What conditions I have to meet if I want to include the charging station in the ZSE DRIVE roaming network and who can charge at such charging station?

Slovak and English. We can add other languages, if needed.

What language is used for the manual on the charging stations display? 

Yes, upon the signature of contract on services, with no limitation.

If I buy the charging station, can the guarantee be extended after 24 months?

ZSE Drive charging stations can charge all types of electric vehicles and plug-in hybrid vehicles sold in Europe. Our charging stations use standardized CCS connectors for fast charging and Mennekes Type 2 for standard charging. The older Chademo connector for fast charging is still available at some charging stations, but the number of these connectors is gradually decreasing.

What types of vehicles can I charge on ZSE Drive charging stations?

To charge your vehicle, you need a charging card in programme of services selected according to your requirements and your expected frequency of using public charging stations. You can also charge without a charging card, via the ZSE Drive application which you can download from Google Play and App Store.

What do I need to charge my vehicle?

ZSE charging stations allow fast-charging via the DC connector (CCS and Chademo) and slow-charging via the Type 2 connector. Ultrafast charging (UFC) for approx. 300 km up to 30 minutes (depends largely on the vehicle's power); UFC can currently charge faster than any car on the market can receive. DC fast-charging allows the vehicle to be charged for a range of approx. 150 km within 30 minutes. The speed of AC charging depends on the built-in board charger in the vehicle and ranges between 1 to 4 hours for a range of 150 km.

How long does the charging of a vehicle take?

We will send you your charging card by post within a few days after your registration at www.zsedrive.sk or in the ZSE Drive mobile app. Until then you can charge using the mobile app.

Where can I apply for my charging card?

No. We send the card exclusively by post.

Can I pick up my card at a ZSE centre or in person? 

The charging card is transferable, the invoice for charging will anyhow always be billed to its holder, so the holder should oversee its use. ZSE Drive cards can be used for only one vehicle with the licence plate No. registered for the vehicle in the contract.

Is the charging card transferable?

Until you receive your charging card, you can charge your vehicle via the mobile app.

How can I charge my vehicle until I receive my charging card?

Call us for free at 0800 555 800 and ask for your card to be blocked as soon as possible to prevent its misuse. Issuing and delivering a new card is charged with a fee of EUR 6.00. You can also charge without an RFID card, via the ZSE Drive mobile app.

What if I lose my charging card?

Yes, this is possible without any restrictions.

Can I have two charging cards to one business electric vehicle – one company-owned and one private?

You can download our ZSE Drive mobile app via this code. If you already have downloaded our app, by scanning the QR-code of the charging connector, you can start charging your electric vehicle.

What purpose does the QR-code on the charging station serve?

Yes, since 1.7.2021 is charging on GreenWay network via ZSE Drive charging card possible.

Can I charge my vehicle with my ZSE Drive card at Greenway charging stations?

No, booking a charging station is no longer possible.

Can I book the station prior to charging?

After registration, you will receive an email with a button to create a password. You can also create a new password at any time using the Forgotten Password feature. The login details are identical for both the web and mobile app.

How can I sign-in to the Client Zone zsedrive.sk?

You can see an overview of your charging in the client zone at www.zsedrive.sk, or in the ZSE Drive mobile application. In addition, you will receive a detailed charging history along with the invoice, which is divided by card number.

Where can I find the history of my charging?

A change to the program can be requested in the mobile application, this change will then take effect from the first day of the following calendar month. Cancellation of the program, i.e. termination of the contract, is possible for any reason
by delivering a written termination of this contract to the other party with a notice period of one calendar month, which begins on the first day of the month following the month in which the written termination of the contract was delivered to the other
party. The termination is sent in writing to the company's address Čulenova 6, 816 47 Bratislava.

How can I change / terminate my program?

Roaming does not need to be activated. All charging cards work automatically in roaming. However, we would like to point out that a separate price list applies to domestic and international roaming and it is not possible to use free volume from your plan. To start charging in domestic or international roaming, you need your charging card or key chain. Starting charging with a mobile application in roaming is not possible. However, the mobile application will help you identify the charging station on your route and identify its power. Information about the status of the connectors in roaming does not take into account the actual status of the connector, as we do not have information about the actual occupancy of the stations of other operators.

How does roaming work and do I need to activate it?

Yes, a person from abroad can also have a registration and a charging program. After registration, we will contact you and confirm your interest in registering and sending the card abroad, due to frequent misunderstadings.

Can I become a registered client with the charging program even if I am from abroad?

The current charging price list can be found on our website in the downloadable files: https://zsedrive.sk/materialy-na-stiahnutie. All prices are listed including VAT. Charging is charged according to the consumed kWh (kilowatt hours) and depending on the active service program. The Guest program is intended for unregistered customers who charge with ZSE Drive only exceptionally or who just want to try charging and are not interested in issuing a charging card. The ECO program is a basic program for a registered customer, without a monthly fee. If you plan to charge in the public network every month, we recommend one of the higher programs: PARTNER SAFE, ROAD SAFE, or FLAT SAFE, which have a monthly fee, but also provide free charging volume for each month, better prices per kWh and Range Insurance.

Which payment cards can be used to pay via the mobile app?

The most convenient charging is at ZSE Drive stations, the same price level also applies to stations in partner roaming mode. A separate price list applies to stations in domestic roaming. It is not possible to draw free volume from the program at stations in domestic roaming. Are the charging fees same at all stations in Slovakia?

Where can I find Business Terms and Conditions of the ZSE Drive service?

In the case of charging as an unregistered customer, the mobile application will reserve the amount of €50 after you fill in your payment card details via the payment gateway. This is not a payment, but only a reservation of funds in the account for the purpose of charging. The reservation is carried out by the bank, which ensures the settlement of the transaction. If the charging did not take place at all, the bank will release the reservation in the full amount of €50. The release of the reservation depends on the bank that processes the transaction and may take several business days.

What should I do if I wanted to charge as an unregistered customer by entering my payment card details into the mobile application, the amount of €50 was reserved, but charging did not take place?

We recommend 3-hase connection designed for 3-32A. If you have usual 25A circuit-breaker, we will set the wallbox for 3-16A or less, as you wish. However, we recommend that cables be prepared for 3x32A. 

What do I need for a wallbox in the garage?

It is a 2-tariff product, based on the D4 tariff. Firstly, you must ask the distribution company for the D4 tariff. The owner of the supply point with the D4 tariff with the valid contract with ZSE Energia can ask for addendum Elektrina for e-vehicle in ZSE Centre. The tariff will be granted once the inspection report from SMART wallbox ZSE Drive is submitted, or other box that supports the OCPP 1.6 communication protocol. The tariff is only for households. It means that only a natural person can get it, i.e. owner of the supply point (e.g. a family house).

What do I need to get home tariff for e-vehicle? 

You must arrange with the co-owners or the manager of real estates. If you have your own supply point in your parking lot (which is rather exceptional), the wallbox will be connected to your supply point. If the wallbox is to be connected to the joint supply point in the garage, you need an agreement with the manager of real estate who will bill you the electricity consumed by your wallbox. You don’t need to invest in another meter-reader as we send the invoice for your wallbox consumption to the manager of real estate on a monthly basis. 

How about the parking lot in a block of flats?

All ZSE Drive wallboxes are equipped with a RFID card reader. Charging cannot start without your card.

How do I prevent that no one takes electricity from my wallbox in the common garage? 

Yes, your wallbox is able to accept your public charging card, but not the card of other customer.

Can I use a charging card which I use in ZSE Drive network?
